Do you know that I am into drawing also? Since I am in grade 6 I usually go to my room and doing a doll drawings. Sometimes sketching a cartoon characters. Until I developed my self to draw my own characters in just my own imagination.


Quite exciting! This would me my mark! So if you saw a girl with this doll, you will know who is she! nyahaha!

She’s my first doll Shiina! I created her using Adobe Photoshop CS3. She has a sister named Eida which based from my sister’s name Ada.

My mom asks me if I want to go with her at Quiapo Church Manila for a hushed prayer. It was my first time to go at Quiapo Church Manila. So I joined her and also want to do the same and decided to bring also my camera.

Before viewing my photographs, I’ll let you know first about Quiapo Church Manila.


Quiapo Church (also known as the “Church of the Black Nazarene” and, in Tagalog, as the “Basilika ng Nazareno”) is a Roman Catholic Church located at Quiapo, Manila, in the Philippines. The church is one of the most popular churches in the country. It is home to the Black Nazarene, a much venerated statue of Jesus Christ which many people believe has miraculous attributes; because of this, the church is sometimes referred to as the “Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene”. The foundation of the church was built in 1582 and survived the devastation of World War II despite surrounding builings being completely destroyed. The church was painted cream after the original Mexican Baroque edifice was burned down in 1928.


On Fridays thousands of Catholic devotees may be seen inside the church edging forward on their knees towards the crucifix.


Also, thousands of people parade through the streets to touch the statue where it is supposed to produce miraculous effects. A number of faithful usually collapse in a faint during the ritual, and some have even died. The Feast Day of the Black Nazarene (also known as Quiapo Day) is celebrated every January 9th.
