WordCamp Philippines 2008

I just registered in WordCamp Philippines 2008 which a premier event for Wordpress users and developers. WordCamp in the Philippines is the first ever in Southeast Asia prepared and arranged by faithful Mindanao Bloggers. I want to join the first ever WordCamp in the Philippines to get updated into words from Matt Mullenweg and learn new strategies from the WordCamp speakers. Also, meeting new bloggers in the Philippines!

I joined the travel of Wu Chun Fever official members and admin. We went at ABS-CBN 6:00 am and have been wait until the time would Wu Chun and Calvin Chen’s company arrived from NAIA airport. We went at the entrance of the studio of Entertainment Live, and there’s a lot of people who wants to watch for Wu Chun’s interview personally.

I won the Best Blog Design title at Candy Teen Blog Awards 2008!

I am shocked when I saw the comments of my co-candy bloggers here at my site. Then when I checked the Candy Teen Blog Awards 2008, I saw my name and stated as Best Blog Design winner waaaah I can’t believe it! Co’z I am expecting that either of the other two could win the title!

Thank God for giving this greatest achievement, I am just praying to get better my skills in designing but he also grant my dream! Also I want to say thank you very much JUDGES! Aw! Makikita ko na si Mikee Lee of PBB Teen Edition 1 sa personal I’m so excited to see the judges and also my co-candy bloggers, yehey

I also want to say thank you to those who leave comments at my Candy Blog Page. To my classmates and friends Jessica, Rea, Jazelle, Teresa, and a so many to mention. Thank you very much to my online friends Nikzuave, Dan, Janile, Betina and Wanawana (they really registered at CandyMag.com just to vote), also to Earvin, Ryan, Chelledzoi, Cat, Egetha and so many to mention also! Big thankful to Dianne’s Je41 And I will never forget to say thank you to my family, esp. to my sister who always criticize my designs hehe Once again, thank you very much! I really appreciate your efforts and long time support even on my websites! (I hope I didn’t forgot some names? :???:)

I’m still imagining what would happen on the awarding! Wheew! Hoping to see you there co-candy bloggers!

It might not the right time to expose the real emotions. But wishing this fake smiles will turn over the real sensation.

Why do we need to hide the real feelings? For what? Tsk. I don’t know why do I need to do this lol! Just because it might affect my studies and professions? Or just want to ignore the problems at all? Somebody says I have a strong personality, yes that’s true! But when it comes to this situation, how is it?


Honestly, I really want to discontinue this hobby. I have an inspiration that’s why I am still doing this profession. Because of what he says: “Buti ka pa ginagamit mo yung skills mo base sa course mo, di tulad ng ibang studyante”, so that’s the reason why I still want to continue this profession. He’s a heartthrob professor, and I want to say thanks to him personally, but I can’t see him anymore.. As in he talked to me once for the whole year! He gave a little words but it means a lot for me.


Wishing this would end up. I’m still quiet for a long time.

As of now, this is my greatest achievement. To be a part of Candy Teen Blog Awards Finalists. The achievements from joining inter-school Web Page Design Competition is just a simple dream, but different with this online journey. It’s my pleasure to belong here

Since I am into designing, why not try to draw the faces of my co-Candy Bloggers? In fact, I visited their blogs one-by-one just to look to their personalities and tried to sketch them.
